For bank exams (IBPS, SBI, etc.), the left thumb impression should be a pixel image (3 cm x 3 cm) at 200 DPI. The file must be in JPG/JPEG format, with a file size between 20 KB and 50 KB. It should be taken with black or blue ink on white paper. Candidates should ensure that the ridges of the thumbprint are clear and not heavily smudged.
